How We Serve
Pregnancy Tests
Life Care Pregnancy Center uses a one-step test for the qualitative detection of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine. They are laboratory-quality, with a 99.9% accuracy rate. Human chorionic gonadotropin, or hCG, is a protein hormone produced by the placenta.
Limited Ultrasound
When a client has confirmation of a positive pregnancy test or is vulnerable to abortion, it is critical that she receive a limited ultrasound. This not only confirms the stage of the pregnancy, but it also gives our client the opportunity to see her baby. We encourage our clients to bring their spouse/boyfriend or a support person to this appointment.
Breastfeeding Support and Education
Life Care provides a supportive environment for clients to learn about and practice breastfeeding. Pre-natal and post-partum classes are offered in both one-on-one and group settings, as well as support and guidance throughout the breastfeeding experience. Advocacy and referrals are also provided for medical breastfeeding needs.
Confidential Client Coaches
Our volunteer Client Coaches offer hope and compassion for women with unplanned pregnancies by educating, equipping, and encouraging them. With a true calling from the Lord, all our coaches go through intensive training and are committed to a three-hour work shift. They are on the front line of this ministry and critical to our mission of saving the lives of the unborn.
Education Opportunities
Based on Care Net’s BrightCourse curriculum and other classes offered through partnerships with community colleges, First Health, and churches, our classes are designed for all moms, dads, and family members to provide the fundamentals of parenting, pregnancy, childbirth, child development, Bible study, and so much more. We are excited to offer in-house and remote options for these educational classes.
Alternatives to Abortion
ADOPTION – Sometimes a birth parent is not ready to raise a child and simply cannot see another way out other than abortion. Life Care Pregnancy Center is committed to educating women on the option of adoption. Most women/families are not interested in considering adoption, but often between the 5th and 8th month of pregnancy they come to the realization that they are not able to parent. It is then that they consider the option of adoption. During the initial assessment with the clients, our Client Coaches share the facts about adoption. Each client who wants to consider adoption is referred to Christian adoption agencies and/or maternity homes. We are not affiliated with any adoption agency, nor do we assist in adoptions.
PARENTING – Most women will choose parenting when presented with the facts about the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual effects of abortion. When counseling and ultrasounds are coupled together, the choice to parent becomes even greater. We provide hope and a plan of action.
